Our last night was not great sleep for either of us, especially as we were woken before 6am by the sailors getting ready to take the boat out (yes the one just by our camper!), and the over excited seagulls squawking! Although this was quite interesting to watch, we'd rather have been asleep! However it did mean we were able to have showers nice and early (good showers and free!) and have our breakfast outside in the sun.
Then we set off and called in to a supermarket to do some food shopping, which was fun. Then we travelled further up into Sweden - it was so different from the last bit, and in fact all our travel so far. It's all been straight roads and flat terrain, but today we got bendy and up & down roads, with rocks and forests, and lots of bridges.
It felt like we were in a different country [at last!]. It also was more tiring driving because we had to control this large vehicle going up and down hills and round corners!
We stopped a couple of times en route - nice stopping places...not such good toilets!
Our srrival at the campsite was a bit stressful - it said full on the gate, but we carried on! There were places, but no-one there to guide or help us. We managed to park and actually it was a lovely sunny spot with a view of the sea/fjord.
The level of permanent set ups ('summer houses?') here was even more, with decking, gardens and wooden fences set up! Quite something! :-o
A lovely seafront surrounded by woodland was a beautiful place to sit and watch the sun on that water, with a small glass of white wine.
Sean cooked another lovely dinner with Swedish ingredients (from our shop that morning), I did the washing up, another walk in the woods and beach, then settled down for a much needed early night. Norway tomorrow!
