After a relaxed set down, and checking out the pet red squirrels, we drove over another big suspension bridge into Sweden: Øresund Bridge is a 16 km direct link between Denmark and Sweden.
Sean found us a great place to stop - going to a beach (Mellbystrand) just off the motorway - so much better than a service station! We walked over the sand dunes to a long windy and wavy beach - which reminded us of our lovely Portstewart strand in Northern Ireland. The sand was not as good, but the wind was a good competitor for NI!
After getting petrol (diesel) we drove on to our next campsite in Bua, where we once again found the last place available. It is in the harbour and we are looking out over the water and various boats. After making our tea, and me updating the blog, we set off for a walk to the lighthouse, ending at the little bar/ice cream shop on site. As the night closed in we were treated to another gorgeous sunset, and the light was so beautiful that we didn't want to go to bed!
