After a good night's sleep, we packed up and set off for Jevnaker the local town which apparently has a famous centre for glass blowing. We didn't go there, but went off in search of a pharmacy for some cream for my insect bite to stop my leg swelling!
Having found that, we wandered around the town (rather than the touristy bit) and found a lovely coffee & cake shop with a garden.
We also found an isolated pier where we listened to Lectio 365 (our Bible/prayer app) in an awe inspiring setting.
We then set off for a drive down the side of the fjord, which was rather frustrating because although we were really near, we couldn't see the fjord because of all the fir tree forests! We had to find a detour which took us to a lovely grassy area and beach where we had lunch and a relaxing time.
Then we drove to the campsite we had been at a few days previously in Drammen by the riverside - we even got to camp in the same place. We went through the tunnel that had a roundabout in it - underground! The campsite has a lovely view of the river - we started outside but later going in because of it being windy even though still gorgeous sunshine. But the swans and cygnet were still there, and one even posed for a sunset picture.
Rain forecast for tomorrow :-(
